"Psychoanalytic
Theory and Technique
In the
Kleinian/Bionian Mode"
The Tampa
Psychoanalytic Society’s Extension Division offers courses for mental health
professionals who are interested in expanding their psychoanalytic
understanding of clinical issues. This year, the Study Group will focus on
“Psychoanalytic Theory and Technique in the Kleinian/Bionian Mode.” The group
meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7:30-9:00 p.m. throughout the
year beginning September 21, 2011 and ending May 16, 2012. This group is
coordinated by Gil Webb, M.D. and co-facilitated by Harris Feinstein, M.D. and
Kate Lamson, LMHC.
Objectives:
1. To
become more familiar with Kleinian/Bionian concept of psychoanalysis.
2. To
integrate these concepts into classical, intersubjective and relational
psychoanalytic concepts.
3. To
apply these understandings to clinical practice.
The meetings are generally held on the
3rd Wednesday of each month from
7:30 p.m. — 9:00 p.m. Listed below are
