| MEMBERSHIP Membership in TBPS is open to: Mental Health Professionals Allied Professionals who have an interest in the application of psychoanalytic knowledge to their particular area of expertise (law, business, medicine, education, religion, art, philosophy, literature, etc) Members of the General Public who have an interest in psychoanalysis and support the aims of the society Students wanting to enhance their education. BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP Monthly Scientific Meetings (September - April) Professional seminars covering a range of clinical, theoretical, and applied topics that provide over 20 CEU/CME credits to Active, Affiliate, Senior Associate, and Associate members at no charge. Psychoanalytic Programs, Workshops, and Activities Priority registration and/or reduced rates for a variety of community and professional education programs. TBPS News Bulletin Print subscription to the TBPS news bulletin published twice annually. Membership Directory Members have the option to be included in the annual TBPS Membership Directory. Notification of regional psychoanalytic activities, invitations to social events and business meetings. Opportunities for personal and professional development, collegial collaboration, and affiliation with the local psychoanalytic community. MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES Clinical 250.00 Mental Health Professionals including psychoanalysts, psychologists, counselors, psychistrists, social workers, physicians, nurses, and others. Academic 250.00 University and college teachers who demonstrate an interest in psychoanlysis Corresponding 50.00 Analysts who are non-residents of the Tampa Bay area Student 25.00 Students enrolled in training in a mental health or related field Friends 50.00 Individuals who do not meet criteria for other categories but have a serious and continuing interest in psychoanalysis Life Members in good standing who have attained the age of 70 or who have retired from active practice.
