SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
FOR  CERTIFICATE  IN
ADULT PSYCHODYNAMIC PSYCHOTHERAPY

1)  2 Years of Coursework –see block diagram

2)  Personal Psychotherapy or Psychoanalysis
with training analyst or training psychotherapist of your choice.

Minimum frequency of twice a week

-  Length depends on clinical issues but we expect it to be ongoing
during a significant portion of supervised clinical work to address
issues stimulated by working as psychotherapist.

3)  Clinical  Consultation
- Weekly consultation on at least two ongoing psychotherapy cases

     -  can be individual or in small groups of up to four
          recommend one individual and one group consultation

     -  cases will be evaluated for suitability with consultant

     -  can select consultants from TPSG, Inc. Faculty

     -  times, location and fees to be individually arranged

     -  cases should be seen at least twice a week for at least one year
          one case must be seen at least twice a week for one year


4)  While all requirements above must be met to receive certificate, the faculty is
aware that some candidates may not be able to undertake all the requirements at the
same time and will consider individual requests from the candidates in this regard.
